  1. A realy great idea! but how are you going to make sure that anyone else has parked in a free spot? That it's easy tot do in a parking company but not in the street. It could be great if you could start ofering some free spots in diferent places of the city and if people realy start to use it you can expand and build your technology to more city parking places.

  2. Hello Anna, first at all, thanks for ur visit and for your comment, it's nice to see that our idea is so well regarded. The way we control the free spots is with a led light on each. Green is free, red busy and yellow means that is going to be book in less than 1 minute. The key of everything is that the drivers only can park in the empty green light park spots. If you see a empty spot but the light is red, then you have to continue looking for another one, because that spot have been booked. Easy like that.

  3. Anna makes a good point about starting with a test in one part of the city. On the canvas, you are missing some key things. First of all, the Town Halls (and also the public parking authority, who is that?) are a customer, not a partner. I don't think you'll be able to pay for this just with $.99 per booking (especially if you can't guarantee that the spot will be open when they get there. How much will this hardware cost? This is the major part of the installation, and you'll need government permission and/or subsidies to do this.

Your value proposition is good, but it's missing what value you'll provide to the town halls, the customer segment I suggested above.

key activities really states more aspects of the value proposition. Here you need to say the main things that the company will do (app development and maintenance, hardware development and maintenance, marketing).

Key resources are the main things that differentiate your company from the competition, and the things that an investor would get if they were to buy the company. So these should be the hardware and app platform, maybe tech talent, and the database. But I don't think drivers.

For customer relationships, you're charging people for using your service, so you will need direct customer support by phone and email. This is also part of your cost structure. You will also need a relationship with town halls.

For channels, after a big investment in hardware and software, you can't expect to just post your app in an app store and people will use it. You will need to actively promote it through marketing online and offline (like at the parking kiosks, for example.)

For Revenue Streams, how will you receive "taxes" from blue and green zone? From the government?

So overall, this is an interesting idea, but it's very expensive and with a lot of challenges!

  4. Hello Paul,

Some points you mention are not defined yet, and like you mentioned there is some mistakes, obviously the city councils and the public parking authority, like B:SM (the company who manage the parking services around the city, like blue and green areas) are costumers, because we sell them a service to be integrated in the actual parking system around the city.

About the payment of 0.99€ for the book service is something that the council will decide, is just our idea about how to take benefit of that time that the spot is booked, because obviously you have to pay that time. Is not something that we are going to earn every time someone book a spot.

As we said in the last previous comment, when a spot is booked the led light is red, means that you can not park, if the booking driver arrive to his spot and it's busy, you can call the parking maintenance company (B:SM) and they will send a crane to take the car out of your spot, with the relevant fine to the car wrong parked. That need amending legislation to be posible, but it's not different then park in a handicapped space. Also the spots shall be marked with numbers to identified spots.

About the revenue, we will get paid for installing the system and for their maintenance, without any special tax.

Thanks for all the corrections and ideas.

We will continue working to improve our idea and plug the holes that may have.
