  1. Hello,

We are CampusJobs.eu and we are going to analyze and comment your idea. Hope that helps!

From what we understand, your idea is to create an application for smartphones that allows drivers to see different parking spots and book them.

Firstly, we reckon that not everybody has a smartphone, so let's think in a situation where a driver with no smartphone sees a place to park his/her car. However, this spot was previously taken (booked) by a user via smartphone so... how can you avoid this kind of situation? Remember, the street is for everyone...

Secondly, from our point of view, the system requires a lot of investment at the beginning especially if it is a big city like Barcelona, for example: sensors to detect free spots; database to integrate all the information... all these sort of things cost money! We recommend to start and test your idea in a "small" city.

Lastly, there are free apps for iOS or Android where the user submits its location saying that there are free spots to park to other users in real time... Will your app be better than the free ones?, because you charge them 99 cents per book.

Hope that our analysis can improve your idea/app!

  2. Hello Chang Long Zhu thanks for your interest and your fresh point of view.

Let's start with your perception of our business. Is not just an smartphone app, is much more than this, is a complet parking on street management system.
The system is based on a sensor and a led light on every park space, and a leds panel around the street corners in the busiest areas.

The option of booking an empty park space is like you said only for smartphone users. Booking an space gives you a window of 30 minutes to arrive to that space currently taken and park your car. As I see in your comment, the question is how does it work? How you can avoid another user to park? let's talk about the system management and the park space lights.
The light remains green when the space is free, and change to red when it's busy or booked. Using the booking feature, the system looks for an empty spots near your destination, choose one and change the spot light to yellow, during one minute keeps the light in yellow, and If no one parks, it changes to red for the next 30 minutes.

The street is for everyone but you only can park in empty green light spaces. You can not park in red light spaces. You will get a fine if you park in a red light spot. Just change the way we use the parking spots, the priority is not more for who arrive first.

The apps you are trying to compare our system, doesn't have any kind of management of the park system, is just information that selflessly users update on the app, no ones guarantees you that free spot, or not even if it's real or not. Our app gives you the opportunity to arrive and park. And also our integration with google maps, will guide you to your park booked spot.

Thanks again for all your comments, really helps us to improve!
